Why it's WRONG!
OK. First of all, I don't have anything against gayness/lesbianess. If you are gay, all the more power to ya'. But, I REALLY hate the idea of Miroku getting together with THE hotest guy in anime (of course I mean Inuyasha).
Not to mention Miroku is a lech and a pervert. Or the fact that Inuyasha is Kagome's man. Or the fact that the two spend most of thier time arguing. Or the fact that Inu yasha is, like, 4 times older than Miroku.
Prove It!
OK. For those of you who think they are a cute couple, keep writing your yaoi-lemon-fics. I got nothin against it(no, I don't enjoy reading them).
Alright, now for the challenge. In the manga and story line, is there EVER any indication that Miroku and Inuyasha have any intrest in each other, besides as straight companions. No friends, I'm sorry to say Doujinshi doesn't count. Thus I rest my case.

- if Inuyasha was a girl.
This sort of things will probaly only happen in fan-fics. Not to mention, if this was the original story line, Kagome and Kikyou would probably be lesbians.(like I said, I got nothin' against that.)
- If Miroku was a girl.
If I ever read this in a fan-fic, I'll die. Plus, I beleive Sango would be a lesbian.
- If they started out gay
If the story line eventually admits they're gay and there's something between them, I'll cry. (So what if Inuyasha's kimono thing is pink. He's too hot to be gay!)
And, finally, the big numero uno way it could ever happen..(please hum a dramatic drum-roll for this) ........................................................................................................
- If Rumiko Takahasi says so!
